Welcome eKhaya - The Homestead

eKhaya Homestead is a private, multi-dwelling retreat set across a peaceful countryside property just minutes from Berry. Designed to host extended families or groups of friends, it’s a place where memories are made — around long lunches by the pool, evening fires beneath the stars, and slow mornings with nothing on the agenda.

With space for up to 18 guests across three beautiful dwellings — the Main Homestead, the Barn, and the Cottage — this is more than a getaway. It’s a chance to breathe, to celebrate life’s chapters, and to reconnect.

    Location: Just a 5-minute drive from Berry, eKhaya Homestead offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Head into town for fresh sourdough, boutique shopping, and relaxed cafés — or explore the South Coast’s vineyards, beaches and walking trails, all within easy reach.

    • Outdoor fireplace and fire pit by the creek

    • Picnic area by the dam

    • Intimate, stylish, and perfect for couples

  • Whether you’re sipping wine poolside, toasting marshmallows by the fire, or enjoying a sunset meal outdoors, the Homestead's outdoor spaces are designed to elevate every season.

    • Pool: Private and sun-drenched, with surrounding lawn and loungers

    • Fire Pits: We have three firepits available to use onsite. One is located at The Homestead, another by the creek and a final one located by the Shed. All perfect spots for stargazing!

    • Alfresco Dining: Multiple options, from rustic sheds to shaded patios

    • Views: Sweeping scenes over the creek, bushland, and distant escarpments

Perfect for family reunions, milestone birthdays, creative retreats, and soul-nourishing long weekends.

  • Rates include all household linen, towels, and a standard departure clean. Pricing is based on the number of guests and dwelling selections.

  • Minimum 5-night stay required during Christmas and New Year. Please avoid leaving gaps shorter than 5 nights during peak periods, adjustments may be required. We’re happy to help with your enquiry.
